WASTE OF TIME

Taking good care of clients should be the first task of any good business. This is something that Major World still needs to learn.

Why? THEY THINK CLIENTS ARE DUMB! I set up a test drive in order to purchase a Range Rover. I contacted the dealer on a Tuesday and received several emails during the week to confirm my appointment for the Sunday. On Sunday i also called to double confirm it and they say "yes, sure." I don't live in the city but in NJ so it took me 1 hour and a half to get there.

and what happened? The person I had the appointment with was not even there...and THE CAR WAS SOLD AND NOBODY TOLD ME. What? You are supposed to be a good dealer and you don't even tell me that the car was sold and you make me come from NJ?

Who the *** do you think you are? I wasted my all Sunday for nothing! And you know what they told me? WELL THIS IS THE WAY WE DO BUSINESS..NOBODY TOLD YOU ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY WANTED YOU TO COME HERE AND PURCHASE SOMETHING ANYWAY.

They even try to sell me something else....UNBELIEVABLE!!! What the ***, Seriously?

Really guys, if you need to buy a car go anywhere else but don't go there. USE YOUR TIME TO GO TO A CAR DEALER THAT IS HONEST!

Worst Customer Service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I have been driving car since 2004 and this has been the worst dealer I have ever been to. My sales person Kevin Brosi treated me like I was from third world country. I saw some good deals in their website and made a trip from central NJ (4 hrs. just to get there) but when I went there, Kevin said these cars on special offers are not in good condition and they are all wrecked and have problems. I went with 6 Stock numbers and This Guy could not even find one that I am looking for in the parking lot. As soon as he found out that I wanted to pay cash, and not finance through them, he wanted me out from there. I just couldn’t believe that a Sales Manager can treat their customers like this. He couldn't find any car that I was looking for and just wanted to show some other wrecked cars to prove his point that I was so cheap. I was so humiliated and treated badly just because I was looking for the cars which were listed in a special deal. I tried complaining about this guy but no one seem to care. why would you work there if you don't like what you do and don't want to help your customer? What does this tell you about this place when a desperate customer with 15K Cash in hand is mistreated like this? I am sure this guy is not happy with his life but that doesn’t mean you can treat your customer like this. Right next day, I bought 2015 Toyota Camry SE in Cash $15,581 out of the door from a dealer in NJ and sent them a bill of sale along with the Picture of the car, just to prove that I was genuine customer and they have no right to mistreat me like that.

3 Repairs, They have my car for 3 weeks

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Brought in the car 3 times for services, the car broke down 3 times within 90 days. First time I brought the car in, they made me wait 1 day. 2nd time, they made me wait a week for my car. Now this is the 3rd time and they held my car for more than 15 days as of today. When you call to get a status, no one knows whats going on, they tell you a bunch of lies or make up stories. I called Ford to see the status of the car, they said the car was fixed and it was sent back to the dealership. I call the dealership and they said ...They don't have the car. Horrible

This is the worst place to make business .Never buy a car in cash from this people.Because when they take your money it is almost impossible to get it back. They know how to play with a costumer and avoid the guarantee. After a couple of months I give up and lost more than US 8,000.00.After that I have to replace the engine and expend another US 4,000.00.They never answer my complaints and they took my money.Honesty is the only thing I want from them. They Know how far I lived and they took the advantage of it.

Major World - Repair Review from New York, New York

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Bought a Cadillac Escalade from Major World, this car had more problems than the dealership cared to repair. First of all the first thirty days were a nightmare. The service center is so far off the beaten trail that you only want to go there once. Service managers are not concerned with your problems withthe car theyjust giveyou a 'light show' and push you out the soor hoping you become discouraged to come back. Major World is a terrible place to buy a car as they do not standbehind their product. Eventually they expect you tobring the car back so they can charge you for repairs that should have been done during the warranty period.

had a great experience at Major World. I went on a Sunday afternoon. I was assisted immediately . Huge selection of cars. Romeo and Rick were extremely helpful. I did not feel any pressure and Rick helped me find a great car in a price range with a payment plan that i was comfortable with. I drove home in my car that day which was amazing. No hassle with registration everything was taken care of right on the spot !

Major Schemers

I went there to buy a car I had decided on via text with the salesman. He told me the asking price.

When I went there I asked him if I could get out the door with taxes fees etc for the asking price(which when I later went home and googled after a harrowing experience,I found was actually$2000 less than he told me) he said yes. Then we went to do the paperwork- which was done by a different salesman. He disagreed with the price and said there was no way to include the fees and taxes, they'd be additional. Fine.

Was shown all the numbers on a worksheet on the computer. I signed my paperwork. Despite having my own financing ahead of time and the car picked out, they still had me waiting hours in trailers that look like somewhere you'd go to see someone in prison. When I went home and looked over my paperwork the next day, I was shocked to see the asking price of the car had been inflated an extra thousand dollars!

Now this is $3000 over the asking price plus all the taxes and fees! I called to speak to someone. The man I had dealt with the entire time told me, yes the price of the car was that which we agreed upon, he apologized and said I would have to speak to the guy who did the actual paperwork. Ok.

I called him. Four times. He never returned my calls. Customer Satisfaction department promised to have upper management contact me.

After that never happened, the associates stopped taking my calls or returning messages. Each step is handled by someone else and there is no accountability. When I finally got someone on the phone, they asked me what happened and offered to transfer me to the manager overseeing the man who did my paperwork. When the man picked up and I asked who he was, it was the man who did my paperwork- finally on the phone I asked him about the fees and why he couldn't return my calls.

He was so rude. Indignant even. He claimed this fee is a mandatory fee on all cars (though all the other fees were listed this was snuck into the asking price) When I asked why he didn't show me this fee when we looked at all the numbers he got near irate yelling at me and treating me like I was a *** and this was standard. If it was a standard fee, why didn't the first guy just tell me that?

Why didn't they show it to me? Why did they keep promising to 'look into it' and yet do nothing? I feel like I was ripped off and lied to.

I will not be purchasing another vehicle from them.

Lies, Lies and wasted time

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Was told one price for my trade ($10,000) first lie, and 60 month loan. Waited 5+ hours for which they had a multitude of excuses, I was then sat in a small roon with three salesmen to review and quickly sign my contract. In the contract I was told that even though it stated a 72 month loan, it would actually be a 60 month loan second and biggest lie. I don't know why I believe that one but to late now I'm committed to it Then I return home and finally have time less to review the contract in total and find it stapled closed (odd) I remove the staples and see that I was only given $8,000 on my trade. I would tell anyone stay clear of Major World

Fraudulent Signed warranty Contract

On 6/20/2011 I purchased a 2008 buick enclave with 49k miles from Major World Chevrolet 4340 Northern Blvd LIC NY 11101. My dealer rep was Sergio Amestegui. At the time of contract I signed and purchased a 4Star+Wrap Warranty. I recently found out from the Warranty Company (Warranty Solutions 800-322-**** Destinie.K.Martinez@***.com) that he filed a downgraded warranty agreement (3star). I asked them to send me a copy of the contract that was filed in order to compare it to the original I signed. The contract I signed was # NAD8-103**** the contract that was filed was NA38-xxxxxxx (Who ever signed this contract mispelled my Signature, and did not date the contract next to the signature.)

I tried going into to dealer and explained my problem to Sergio, first he said he would take care of it, now he just avoids my calls.

I am outraged that someone signed my signature, I consider this fraud, and I will not let this issue rest. Now its not about the warrranty it is about The dealer rep Sergio Amestegui forging my signature on a legal contract to give me a lesser warranty than the one agreed upon and signed by me.

I have in my possesion the original contracts, and a copy of the forged filed one.

Just because I am hispanic, and speak with an accent does not mean I am uneducated, I am a retired US Postal Superviser who lives on a fixed budget, I now want retribution for the intentional fraud commited.

How many times have they done this and how many people never have issues with their cars and never find out. If I hadn't had an issue that should of been covered by my warranty agreement I would of never known.

I filed a rippoff report Report: #107**** @***.com. I filed a report with the FTC, I have left messages for Bruce Bendell CEO of Major World Chevy and again no response.

Worthless car has structural damage

I went into Major World because I trusted the sales guy. My husband had bought a car from him before and he was such a great sales guy we went back to him 3 years after. We were so wrong in going to this dealer and dealing with this sales guy. At the time I was expecting my first baby. I went in to trade a 2011 Honda Accord (which I regret doing so) we trade it for a Mercedes Benz ML 350. Having a baby on the way, we wanted a safe and reliable car; we wanted to make our baby as comfortable as possible. At two months of having the ML350 we had to do a service on the car costing us 490.00. Two months later this car started having trouble. Check engine light was constantly on and off. We finally fixed it after spending a total of $2590. We took it back to Major World to see if we could trade it for something safer and they would only give us $18k for it after we bought it for $33k. We walked away, we went to a MB dealer and they told us that they could not take our car as it had structural damage and they could only give us $14k for it. I was so devastated. I have been driving a car that is not safe at all with my newborn in it and on top this sales guy knew about the structural damage all along. We went back and forth to Major World to trade this car but all the other cars had accidents. Most of their cars have accidents and they are really bad accidents. Please do not waste your time and money with this dealer. I’m stuck with paying for this car until the end. Save yourself the hassle and go to a reputable dealer. We even took about 3 other people to the same sales man because we thought highly of him, Alphonso is his name. He really knows who we are. You are worthless.

Understand that banks do not give auto loans if your income does not meet bank requirements, you will be approved but either you'd have to put down more money or get a consigner. Minimum bank auto loans are 10k unless you go through your credit union.

Major World Is a Fraud

Do not buy from this dealer. I purchased a 2008 GMC Envoy, They provide you with a carfax that states the vehicle information and VIN # they claim that the car has never been in a collision.

We took the car to our mechanic friend and our mechanic showed us the bent chassis and other evidence that clearly shows this car was in a collision. I was heartbroken and Very disapointed with this dealership. My car is always breaking down. I had spent endless money on repairs.

These people sold me a lemon. When I demanded my refund they simply refused. Also the customer service was horrendous.

When you first come in they will jump all over you but once they have you on their hook, thats it, you are garbage and no good after that. BEWARE THESE PEOPLE WILL MISLEAD YOU
