WASTE OF TIME
Taking good care of clients should be the first task of any good business. This is something that Major World still needs to learn.
Why? THEY THINK CLIENTS ARE DUMB! I set up a test drive in order to purchase a Range Rover. I contacted the dealer on a Tuesday and received several emails during the week to confirm my appointment for the Sunday. On Sunday i also called to double confirm it and they say "yes, sure." I don't live in the city but in NJ so it took me 1 hour and a half to get there.
and what happened? The person I had the appointment with was not even there...and THE CAR WAS SOLD AND NOBODY TOLD ME. What? You are supposed to be a good dealer and you don't even tell me that the car was sold and you make me come from NJ?
Who the *** do you think you are? I wasted my all Sunday for nothing! And you know what they told me? WELL THIS IS THE WAY WE DO BUSINESS..NOBODY TOLD YOU ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY WANTED YOU TO COME HERE AND PURCHASE SOMETHING ANYWAY.
They even try to sell me something else....UNBELIEVABLE!!! What the ***, Seriously?
Really guys, if you need to buy a car go anywhere else but don't go there. USE YOUR TIME TO GO TO A CAR DEALER THAT IS HONEST!

I went there to buy a car I had decided on via text with the salesman. He told me the asking price.
When I went there I asked him if I could get out the door with taxes fees etc for the asking price(which when I later went home and googled after a harrowing experience,I found was actually$2000 less than he told me) he said yes. Then we went to do the paperwork- which was done by a different salesman. He disagreed with the price and said there was no way to include the fees and taxes, they'd be additional. Fine.
Was shown all the numbers on a worksheet on the computer. I signed my paperwork. Despite having my own financing ahead of time and the car picked out, they still had me waiting hours in trailers that look like somewhere you'd go to see someone in prison. When I went home and looked over my paperwork the next day, I was shocked to see the asking price of the car had been inflated an extra thousand dollars!
Now this is $3000 over the asking price plus all the taxes and fees! I called to speak to someone. The man I had dealt with the entire time told me, yes the price of the car was that which we agreed upon, he apologized and said I would have to speak to the guy who did the actual paperwork. Ok.
I called him. Four times. He never returned my calls. Customer Satisfaction department promised to have upper management contact me.
After that never happened, the associates stopped taking my calls or returning messages. Each step is handled by someone else and there is no accountability. When I finally got someone on the phone, they asked me what happened and offered to transfer me to the manager overseeing the man who did my paperwork. When the man picked up and I asked who he was, it was the man who did my paperwork- finally on the phone I asked him about the fees and why he couldn't return my calls.
He was so rude. Indignant even. He claimed this fee is a mandatory fee on all cars (though all the other fees were listed this was snuck into the asking price) When I asked why he didn't show me this fee when we looked at all the numbers he got near irate yelling at me and treating me like I was a *** and this was standard. If it was a standard fee, why didn't the first guy just tell me that?
Why didn't they show it to me? Why did they keep promising to 'look into it' and yet do nothing? I feel like I was ripped off and lied to.
I will not be purchasing another vehicle from them.

Fraudulent Signed warranty Contract
On 6/20/2011 I purchased a 2008 buick enclave with 49k miles from Major World Chevrolet 4340 Northern Blvd LIC NY 11101. My dealer rep was Sergio Amestegui. At the time of contract I signed and purchased a 4Star+Wrap Warranty. I recently found out from the Warranty Company (Warranty Solutions 800-322-**** Destinie.K.Martinez@***.com) that he filed a downgraded warranty agreement (3star). I asked them to send me a copy of the contract that was filed in order to compare it to the original I signed. The contract I signed was # NAD8-103**** the contract that was filed was NA38-xxxxxxx (Who ever signed this contract mispelled my Signature, and did not date the contract next to the signature.)
I tried going into to dealer and explained my problem to Sergio, first he said he would take care of it, now he just avoids my calls.
I am outraged that someone signed my signature, I consider this fraud, and I will not let this issue rest. Now its not about the warrranty it is about The dealer rep Sergio Amestegui forging my signature on a legal contract to give me a lesser warranty than the one agreed upon and signed by me.
I have in my possesion the original contracts, and a copy of the forged filed one.
Just because I am hispanic, and speak with an accent does not mean I am uneducated, I am a retired US Postal Superviser who lives on a fixed budget, I now want retribution for the intentional fraud commited.
How many times have they done this and how many people never have issues with their cars and never find out. If I hadn't had an issue that should of been covered by my warranty agreement I would of never known.
I filed a rippoff report Report: #107**** @***.com. I filed a report with the FTC, I have left messages for Bruce Bendell CEO of Major World Chevy and again no response.

Major World Is a Fraud
Do not buy from this dealer. I purchased a 2008 GMC Envoy, They provide you with a carfax that states the vehicle information and VIN # they claim that the car has never been in a collision.
We took the car to our mechanic friend and our mechanic showed us the bent chassis and other evidence that clearly shows this car was in a collision. I was heartbroken and Very disapointed with this dealership. My car is always breaking down. I had spent endless money on repairs.
These people sold me a lemon. When I demanded my refund they simply refused. Also the customer service was horrendous.
When you first come in they will jump all over you but once they have you on their hook, thats it, you are garbage and no good after that. BEWARE THESE PEOPLE WILL MISLEAD YOU
